Since 2010, Galerie Kunstbehandlung has placed the subject of “The Male Figure” at the center of an annual, internationally acclaimed group exhibition. Part of the concept is that the gallery’s well-known artists, who work on the classic theme of male figures, are constantly joined by new talents, thus opening up new perspectives on this part of the figurative art world to a very diverse audience. The approach to the “masculine” is artistically very individual, personal, often critical, but sometimes also humorous. Paintings, drawings and sculptures show a wide variety of working techniques and styles, including nudes and portraits, studies, pop art, abstraction and photorealism.
For the exhibition in spring 2026, the gallery invites artists to participate in the group exhibition with up to five works. Works can be submitted to
that relate to the theme of “The Male Figure” and experiment with forms of representation in the visual arts.

English. Only complete submissions will be accepted.
We ask for the following information / documents:
- Photographs of a maximum of five examples of work as an image with title, year of creation, technique, dimensions
- Short biography
- Name (artist name if applicable), contact details, website, social media links
