From 26.06. – 09.08.2026, the world’s largest rose collection will be the backdrop for the large outdoor art exhibition “Rose meets Art” for the 7th time.
The connection between the rose and art runs like a red thread through the over 120-year history of the Europa-Rosarium…
Since 2020, with the large outdoor art exhibition “Rose meets art”, this fascinating connection has been further emphasized, so that the interplay of the art objects in the park with the changing variety of roses has gained in importance for art, rose and garden lovers from year to year.
In recent years, around 30,000 visitors interested in art and roses have been able to admire works of art made from a wide variety of materials by national and international artists and one or two favorite pieces have found a new home after the exhibition.
The expansion of the art exhibition into the historic center of the mountain and rose town of Sangerhausen since 2024 has been well received, so that the churches will once again be available as an exhibition space for “Rose meets Art” in 2026. The “Rose meets Art” art exhibition thus once again combines the world’s largest rose collection with the historic town.
The large outdoor exhibition ends with a picnic concert and culinary delights amidst the unique backdrop of roses and art on Sunday, 09.08.2026.
