The “Barna von Sartory” art farm in Grimme near Brüssow in the Uckermark region offers:
A one-month work stay in one of the newly built artist studios for visual artists in May 2025. The artist studio offers a large, heated work area with light from above. There is also a small living room/bedroom, a shower room and a kitchen.
The artists’ studios will be completed in 2024 and have been recognized as a special architectural achievement by the Brandenburg Chamber of Architects.
The scholarship is linked to the obligation to participate in the Open Studio Day 2025 on the first weekend in May.
The scholarship does not require a place- or time-related work project. The scholarship holder has the opportunity to take part in an exhibition in the Kunsthof gallery in summer 2025 during the Uckermärkische Musikwochen.
Catering is to be paid for by the artist. Nearest shopping facilities in Brüssow (4 km). Car is advantageous, bicycle is sufficient.
In addition to living and working space, the scholarship includes a financial grant of € 1500.
