Board change at BBK Saxony-Anhalt: Christoph Ackermann takes over for Line Jastram

The board of the Berufsverband Bildender Künstler Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. has had a new member since November 1, 2025. Christoph Ackermann, a visual artist from Magdeburg, was co-opted onto the board at the most recent board meeting and would like to use the remaining term of office until 2027 to work on behalf of his colleagues from Saxony-Anhalt: “I am grateful for the trust placed in me. From Magdeburg, I will be very happy and fully responsible for the concerns and interests of the association artists in our region.” In addition to six board members from Halle (Saale) and Dessau-Roßlau, there is now also a board member from our state capital.

The change had become necessary because Line Jastram had stepped down from the Board for personal reasons. The members of the Board and the office would like to thank her for her cooperation over the past few years and the great commitment she has shown since her election in June 2021 – in the meantime also as the first Chairwoman. She has brought the needs and added value of the work of female visual artists to the attention of political representatives and society alike.

The BBK Saxony-Anhalt Board currently consists of Annegrete Riebesel (first chairwoman), Julia Rückert (second chairwoman), Christoph Ackermann, Stefanie Demmel, Marion Münzberg, Friederike Nottrott and Desiree Sander.
