In conjunction with the Stiftung Kunstfonds, the study “Von der Kunst zu leben. The economic and social situation of visual artists” (2025), the BBK Bundesverband is publishing the accompanying publication “Impulses and ways to live from art”. It shows how cultural policy conditions can be sustainably improved and which measures are suitable for strengthening the economic, social and professional situation of visual artists in the long term.
The publication is expressly aimed at political decision-makers, administrative actors and those responsible in the arts and culture sector. It is intended as a constructive contribution to the cultural policy debate and as an invitation to engage in dialog about necessary reforms.
