Making female* experience visible, questioning stereotypical images of nature, the body and roles and working towards a lively, diverse perception of gender, sexuality and desire – this is what drives Laura Baginski in her artistic work.
In the video work “Lustsubjekte”, she merges the plaster relief of a vulva with images of nature from her garden. The constantly emerging new layers of meaning invite us to reflect on our strained relationship to nature and gender.
