After the successful exhibition project “THE FEMALE VIEW” in 2013 at the Isernhagenhof, the kunstverein burgwedel-isernhagen is starting a new exhibition project and would like to introduce you to our project “THE FEMALE VIEW 2/026” and invite you to help shape this project. we are experiencing an unchecked wave of political revanchism and right-wing populism worldwide, which forces us to question the widespread assumption of a linear and inevitable progress in equality.
With this exhibition project, the kunstverein burgwedel-isernhagen artclub e.v. aims to promote and strengthen female positions in contemporary art. After a very successful anniversary exhibition in 2013 (“The Female Gaze 1”), we would like to focus once again on primarily female artistic creation, the female gaze on current contemporary art with the exhibition “THE FEMALE GLANCE 2/026” in 2026, thus setting an example for female art.
The call is aimed at artists in the fields of applied art/art design, performance/sound and video art and fine art.
Works of all art genres, techniques and methods are permitted.
