The German Aerospace Center (DLR) hereby publicly announces an art competition.
For the new construction of an office and research building—the Galileo Competence Center—a competition is being held for an artistic intervention in the interior of the monolithic, 4-story building. An artistic concept is to be developed for the building’s entrance area—which features a glass facade and a large staircase with seating—as well as for the adjacent courtyard.
Interested artists are invited to submit an initial sketch or their portfolio from now until August 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. The deadline for submitting materials is set for this date and ends at the specified time.
