The new Kleine Au daycare center in Germersheim is to be given an artistic design with the help of an open competition to obtain designs. This is intended to artistically enhance the exterior façade of the elevator tower. The front surface and, if required, the side surface of the elevator tower will be available for the art.
Participation is open to all professional artists (i.e. artists and/or craftspeople). Groups of artists and working groups are admitted and count as one participating person. The eligibility to participate must apply to the lead member, in the case of groups of artists to each member.
No processing fee is paid for participation. Participation is free of charge. The following prize money will be awarded for the first three prize-winning designs:
- Price: 1,500 € (gross)
- Price: 1,000 € (gross)
- Price: 500 € (gross)
A maximum of €40,000.00 (gross) is available for the realization of the artistic design.
The artwork is scheduled for completion by 31.08.2026 .
