Residency – Mondriaan Fund

The Mondriaan Fund’s residency program offers artists and curators/critics the opportunity to deepen their practice in a specific location for a defined period of time. The residency provides a workspace, housing, and a monthly stipend. The program aims to support participants’ artistic development and to facilitate the creation of new works and connections within the local art scene. Applicants must have at least one year of professional experience as an artist or curator/critic. They must also have completed at least a 3-year bachelor’s or master’s degree in the visual arts. The duration and location of the residency vary, so applicants should review the specific details for the residency to which they are applying.

Who can apply?

Visual artists, curators, art critics, and art observers who wish to deepen their artistic practice and expand their professional networks. Residencies are available in the Netherlands or abroad at residencies recognized by the Mondriaan Fund. Applicants may select up to two residencies per call for applications.
