With BBK members G. Burkard Büttner, Claudius Förster, Sebastian Harwardt, Susanne Henny Kolp, Max Koch, Anne Merten, Anja Nürnberg, Stephan Schieritz and Franziska Schnürer as well as numerous other artists.

“NEW WAVE II” describes a movement: A new wave of artists, materials, ways of thinking and energies passing through the house. Waves are created where something starts to move – they carry, overlap, trigger changes and open up new spaces. Since 2021, new studios have been occupied, new working contexts have been created and new voices have become part of Künstlerhaus 188. The exhibition makes this dynamic visible.
Textile works meet drawing and printmaking, video meets installation and experimental approaches. Transitions, frictions and resonances arise between the positions.
