Visual artists, artist duos and their legal successors can apply for funding to create a digital catalog raisonné until the end of May 2026.
The KUNSTFONDS_Werkverzeichnung funding program promotes the digital documentation of artistic life’s work that is of supra-regional importance and high artistic relevance. All measures that are necessary to implement the catalog raisonné are eligible for funding.
The requested funding amount must be at least 10,000 euros and max. 30,000 euros with an own contribution of 10 percent.
The digital cataloging is carried out in a cataloging program provided by the Stiftung Kunstfonds. You can get a first insight into the acquisition program HERE.
Applications for funding can only be submitted digitally via the online application portal of the Kunstfonds Foundation at application.kunstfonds.de can be submitted.
The program is financed by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) with funds from the German Bundestag and is subject to the availability of funds.
