Exhibition “A.D.M.D.M.G.A.G. S.H.D.K.S.K.R.M.D.P.A.S.A.W: Scholarship Holders of the Stiftung Kunstfonds”
Space for concentrated work, for innovative ideas and for strengthening the artistic profile: This is made possible by the Kunstfonds Foundation’s scholarship. It supports visual artists throughout Germany and is also a prestigious award for outstanding achievement in the visual arts. The Stiftung Kunstfonds is now showing a selection of works by its 2024 scholarship holders: the exhibition “A.D.M.D.M.M.G.A.G.S.H.D.K.S.K.R.M.D.P.A.S.A.W” represents the entire spectrum of Kunstfonds-supported positions with painting, sculpture, photography and installative sound and video works.
The Kunstfonds scholarship holders Ahu Dural, Marta Dyachenko, Monika Grabuschnigg, Andrea Grützner, Samuel Henne, Doris Kaiser, Selma Laura Köran, Roy Mordechay, David Polzin, Anna Schimkat and André Wischnewski are taking part in the exhibition. The artists focus on a wide variety of themes in their works, from formal-aesthetic issues to autobiographical narratives and socially critical observations. The exhibition runs from 2.4. to 18.5.2025 in Halle (Saale) and is being realized in cooperation with the Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt.
The participating artists were selected from the 83 Kunstfonds 2024 scholarship holders by an independent jury, which included visual artists Christine Bergmann and Kriz Olbricht as well as exhibition organizer Thibaut de Ruyter.
