Are you an artist who would like to take part in a solidarity-based art project?
For our art auction at the OPENART Festival 2026, we are looking for works of art that we can auction off to support a charitable cause. With your support, you’ll help make our self-organized art festival on August 29 in Saxony-Anhalt a reality, while also making art accessible to many people.
After all, art is valuable—and yet many people can barely afford it. Even artists themselves often cannot make a living from their work. We want to do something about this: With our solidarity auction, we aim to make art accessible at affordable prices while supporting the festival’s artists.
This creates a cycle of solidarity: Art enables art.
All proceeds from the auction go toward organizing the festival, and as an artist, you’ll receive 20% of the auction proceeds from your artwork.
By contributing your artwork, you’re supporting fair compensation, independent art, and a vibrant cultural scene.
We are seeking original works in all artistic disciplines.
