How can children and young people learn not just to wait for the future, but to shape it themselves? This is exactly where cultural education comes in: it opens up spaces for shifting perspectives, makes other possibilities conceivable, and helps young people recognize and break away from familiar patterns. With approximately 200 professional development and continuing education programs, the Academy for Cultural Education’s 2027 program is dedicated to exploring how such spaces can be created—and what it takes for children and young people to help shape their own futures in a self-determined way.
