Open Call Program 2026 “Gallery North | Studio” (AT)

The Department of Art, Culture and History in the Office for Continuing Education and Culture of the Mitte district of Berlin has added the exhibition space “Galerie Nord | Studio” (AT) at Turmstraße 75 in Moabit to its network of municipal galleries. Together with the existing municipal galleries and institutions, the new exhibition space forms an important further building block in a city-wide structure for contemporary art, cultural mediation and social reflection.

The studio sees itself as an openly designed space that is accessible via a transparent, public open call that takes place once a year. This gives artists, curators, art mediators and initiatives in particular the opportunity to realize their own exhibition projects and try out new forms of art production and mediation – free from commercial constraints.

Artists, curators, art mediators or initiatives with exhibition projects can apply for the Open Call until December 8, 2025. We are looking for exhibition projects for four periods. The offer is the free use of the exhibition space (approx. 65 m²) as well as the remuneration of artistic and conceptual fees (approx. € 7,500 gross per exhibition) within the framework of fee guidelines to be observed (see call for applications).

The complete Open Call should be read thoroughly before applying.

Applications must be submitted in full by the deadline of December 8, 2025 using this online form.
