Two scholarships are awarded each year in the field of fine arts: one scholarship for the period from 15.1. – 15.6. and a scholarship for the period from 15.7. – 15.12.
The application period for both scholarships is from January 15 to April 15 of the previous year (the postmark counts for postal mailings). Rejected applicants may not reapply the following year. After three unsuccessful applications for an Edenkoben scholarship, a further application is unfortunately no longer possible. Application documents for visual artists.
Please submit the following documents in German – by post to: Künstlerhaus Edenkoben der Stiftung Rheinland-Pfalz für Kultur, Klosterstraße 181, 67480 Edenkoben or in electronic form (in a consolidated PDF and please no larger than 5 MB) to: Curriculum vitae with artistic career and previous funding.
Reasons for choosing the scholarship and explanation of the artistic goals during the planned scholarship stay (maximum one page DIN A4). At least 10, but no more than 20 photos or other image materials (catalogs or similar) of the artistic works (no slides, no photo CDs, no MAC data CDs). Format maximum DIN A4.
If you enclose a stamped envelope, we will be happy to return your documents to you. Indicate whether you are applying for a scholarship in the first or second semester. Once the scholarship has been approved, the scholarship holder will receive a house contract and the house rules. The scholarship is deemed to have been legally awarded after the scholarship holder has signed the house contract. Scholarship holders are asked to submit a written report on their stay at the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben at the end of their stay.
