Now is the time to network, exchange ideas and develop concrete strategies. Together, we want to build a strong, solidary cultural policy for the future!
In recent years, the conditions for representing interests in cultural work have changed fundamentally. Political and social upheavals present actors with new challenges. In particular, the increasing scarcity of public funds and the vehement shift in discourse require a new form of political communication and lobbying for the cultural sector.
How can the interests of cultural actors be realized in this new reality? How can the cultural sector show an increasingly interdisciplinary, networked and solidary face in order to counter political and social developments? What strategies are needed to strengthen the voice of culture in political decision-making processes?
The workshop explores these questions and brings together committed individuals and experts to share knowledge, forge alliances, develop strategies and try out new forms of advocacy. In various formats, the focus is on the foundations, structures and visions of solidarity-based cultural work.
After each professional program point, a moderated artistic collective space invites you to perceive the invisible threads of community, creativity and social commitment and to interweave reflections.
In particular, actors from theater education and production as well as actors from other fields of cultural education and cultural work who (want to) get involved in cultural policy as an association, institution or individual are invited.
