Group exhibition “Here is there somewhere else – views of society”

A group of 12 BBK members working with the media of photography and video explored socially relevant topics. The participating artists engaged in an intensive exchange, which became visible through a photographic >Polylog<: each=”” artist=”” contributed=”” an=”” original=”” image=”” to=”” the=”” group=”” which=”” others=”” responded=”” in=”” their=”” own=”” visual=”” language.=”” result=”” was=”” a=”” dialog=”” that=”” presented=”” brunswik=”” pavilion=”” among=”” other=”” places.=”” at=”” kunstverein=”” haus=”” and=”” individual=”” artistic=”” positions=”” are=”” complemented=”” by=”” performative=”” installative=”” sculptural=”” graphic=”” elements.=””></:>
The cooperation between the two BBK regional associations is exemplary of a lively East-West exchange. It contributes to reflecting on social differences and opening up new areas of understanding. The transnational dialog is to be continued after the exhibition. In summer 2027, the group is planning a 10-day symposium in the Altmark region of Saxony-Anhalt, which will focus on both artistic exchange and contact with the local people.
