Competition brief
The town of Hennef is planning to build a bicycle station at Place Le Pecq. The square is centrally located in the town center in the vicinity of the train station, bus station and a park-and-ride parking lot. On two sides of the square are buildings with public uses and medical facilities. The bicycle station is integrated into an overall concept of bicycle commuter routes and bicycle lanes and is intended to make commuting by bicycle and switching to bus and train more attractive. The bicycle station is a central component of the traffic turnaround in Hennef.

An art-in-architecture work is to be realized on or in the building of the bicycle station at Place Le Pecq in Hennef.
