MOMENTUM – A Pause in Color

Wernigerode – A breath, a moment—captured and yet in motion. With her exhibition “MOMENTUM – Pausing in Color,” Wernigerode-based artist Melanie Kuna-Drechsler once again invites viewers to reflect on life’s special moments.
Inspired by the nature of the Harz Mountains, fairy tales, and memories and emotions, she creates works that hover between figuration and abstraction. Using acrylic, charcoal, oil pastels, and beeswax, the artist transforms fleeting impressions into multi-layered visual worlds full of depth and energy. Her art invites us to pause, to reflect on our fast-paced lives, and to tune into our own moments and feelings.
