Exhibition: “Where Do Our Roots Begin—and Where Do They End?”
A café with birch trees, a birch bottle, everything birch… In this project, I take the birch tree as my starting point. It becomes a space for negotiation between my experiences and the changes I’ve undergone since moving from Belarus to Germany. Through everyday objects, cultural codes, and sometimes humorous figures, I explore questions of identity, connection, and the differences between these two experiences. The birch tree appears again and again—as a reminder of my origins, as a symbol of a lost home, but also as something familiar in a new environment.
