Each year, the Kunstverein zu Rostock e.V. announces residency grants for visual artists for the period from January through September. The call for applications for 2027 is open to the visual arts (painting, graphic art, sculpture, photography, illustration, performance art, and video art).
Professional artists working in the fields listed above are eligible to apply. Artists with children and artist groups are expressly encouraged to apply.
Fellowship recipients receive a monthly stipend of 1,500 euros and the opportunity to use the studio apartment at the Schleswig-Holstein-Haus in Rostock.
