A collaboration between the Halle (Saale) Cultural Theme Years and the Friends of the Halle Planetarium, with support from Stadtwerke Halle, in coordination with the Silbersalz Festival. At the heart of the project is the KulturDom of the Thematic Year and the newly acquired 360° cameras, which can be used to create video works specifically for 360° domes.
Specifically: You can borrow the camera for your own project that explores the theme of this year’s cultural festival: “City. Light. Life. Energy.” A selection of the resulting works will be shown at this year’s Silbersalz Festival! This is a great opportunity to showcase a complex work right away, complete with the appropriate technology and exhibition space.
We invite all cultural professionals, artists, art students, art enthusiasts, and young people to participate in the open call for 360° films or to share it with others. The application deadline is June 24, 2026.
