How does one’s own judgment change when one knows nothing about the artists’ names or backgrounds? How does one determine the value of a drawing when all works are offered at the same price? Where is the line between art and non-art?
ANONYME ZEICHNER is an international exhibition project that explores these questions in practice. The exhibition at ZAK—Center for Contemporary Art in Berlin
presents approximately 600 drawings by 600 artists, without revealing their names or the titles of the works.
Each work is offered at a symbolic flat rate of €250. Of this amount, the artists receive €200, and the remaining amount is used to fund future calls for submissions and exhibitions.
Application deadline: September 27, 2026
