Three-week workshop with compulsory residency
Date: June 29 to July 17, 2026
- Participants: 4 artists (jury selection)
- Prerequisite: Completed art studies and/or work as a freelance artist
- Working techniques: etching (all intaglio printing techniques), woodcut and linocut, experimenting with printing techniques until the finished end product / all possible combinations / no edition printing
- Graphic edition: A graphic edition with one sheet from each participant and a text contribution will be published.
- Exhibition: Presentation of the resulting works with work documentation, with invitation and poster in the gallery of the KÜNSTLERHAUS HOHENOSSIG.
- Supporting events: “Fest des Zustandsdruckes” – artist talk at the halfway point of the symposium, for art lovers and sponsors.
- Material: A large amount of working material is provided.
- Printers: The participating artists will be optimally supported by three graphic printers during the symposium.
- Overnight stay with breakfast: free of charge in a guesthouse in Hohenossig.
Application documents:
- five original graphic sheets in the techniques of etching and/or woodcut or linocut
- Vita with artistic career and a maximum of two catalogs ATTENTION: no digital material, no web links
- Short statement on the work project in the symposium
- Sufficient return postage, digital parcel label, no stamps
Selection: An annually changing jury of experts decides on participation.
