The fellowships are intended to support the artistic development of professional artists. The stay abroad is intended to enable them to gain an understanding of and familiarity with the culture of the host location, to study developments in the local art scene, to establish contacts, to exchange ideas, to gain inspiration, and to carry out an artistic project on site.
