“Actually, I am…” Many people in the creative industries do not work in one clearly defined professional field. They operate in a field of income sources and identities: employment, part-time self-employment, an artistic practice… How this so-called employment hybridity succeeds is shown by Anna Spenn and Katrin Mauch from the House of the Self-Employed and from ArbeitGestalten GmbH at the Designhaus Halle in an interactive, personal workshop. The focus is on questions such as: How do I organize several mainstays? What bureaucratic aspects do I need to consider? What do I communicate to the outside world, how do I introduce myself? How do I protect myself from overload? And there will also be space to share your own experiences with life and work models.
