The Kunsthalle Hochschwarzwald Foundation Culture Prize is awarded annually, alternating between the categories “Visual Arts” and “Performing Arts”. It will be awarded for the first time in 2026 in the “Visual Arts” category.
The jury, which consists of the foundation’s board members, will award prizes to three of the submitted applications, with the first prize being endowed with 1,500 euros, the second prize with 1,000 euros and the third prize with 500 euros. In addition, the prize winners receive a grant of 500 euros towards expenses for travel and the exhibition of their works or the organization of an event at the Kunsthalle Hochschwarzwald Wieden as part of the award ceremony.
