Workshops: Colored paper techniques with paste (trickle, peel-off and displacement techniques) | Colored papers in relief printing techniques and monotype | Colored papers in reserve technique, frottage, stencil wiping technique | Card design and small-format printmaking
Paper, gluten-free wheat starch paste, alum, lightfast, highly pigmented artists’ inks, brushes, stencils and everyday objects – transparent layers of color are superimposed to create expressive surface patterns or abstract pictorial worlds. The aim is to learn paste-based colored paper techniques in order to intuitively capture themes and emotional worlds on paper in the form of patterns or abstract shapes and thus tell stories or convey artistic themes. The choice of suitable paper plays a major role in this. You have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the enormous variety of pasting techniques and try them out for yourself.
The limited places on the course will be allocated according to the number of registrations received.
