Schaufler Residency@TU Dresden 2027

International artists or collectives working in media art, conceptual art, performance, and related fields are invited to apply for the six-month residency with innovative projects. The goal is to develop artistic perspectives on the overarching theme of the Lab’s third funding phase, “Energy Cultures in Transition,” and to collaborate with researchers at TUD to generate new ideas at the intersection of art, science, and society. The fellowship includes, among other things, a stipend of 3,000 euros per month, a studio on the TUD campus, and a production grant of up to 10,000 euros. The residency also includes a solo exhibition at the Kustodie Gallery in the Görges Building in the fall of 2027, along with an accompanying artist’s book.

Application deadline: November 9, 2026
