Judith Runge and Julia Himmelmann in Pobles

Ceramics exhibition ‘Weather4.0 – Ceramics, Faience, Installation

Exhibition opening on June 6 at 3 pm with concert “O Sole Mio” by Martin Wolff and the Mitteldeutsche Salon-Trio.

The four artists who have come together for this exhibition at the invitation of Hendrik Tauché are united by their fascination with ceramic materials. They all studied at or around Burg Giebichenstein University in Halle/Saale at very different times and in very different disciplines. Even though they each have their own original artistic handwriting and approach their themes in very different ways. Their art has a narrative character. They all deal with the question of what human beings are all about. His origin. Its sublimity. And its ridiculousness. Given its materiality and its significance in cultural history, clay is perfect for this.

The exhibition and concert will take place in the open air.
