Since 2010 the Gallery Kunstbehandlung has placed the subject of “The Male Figure” at the center of an annual internationally renowned group exhibition. The concept includes works by well-known artists from the gallery, who work on the classic theme of men, being joined by new talents, thus enabling new perspectives on this subfield of figurative art to a diverse audience.
The approach to the ‘male figure’ is artistically quite individual, personal, often critical, at times humorous.
Paintings, drawings and sculptures show a vast variety of techniques and styles, including nude and portrait paintings, sketches, pop art, abstraction and photorealism.
The Gallery invites artists to participate in the upcoming group exhibition in spring 2026 with up to five works of art which have not been exhibited before. Art works referring to the theme “Male Figure” and experimenting with forms of visual arts can get submitted.
Applications should be sent by email to latest by February 8 th 2026 (midnight).
We kindly ask for the following information and documentation:
– Photographs of a maximum of five examples of work, each with title, year of creation, technique, dimensions
– Short Biography
– Name ( artist name if applicable), contact details, website, social media links
