An exhibition featuring ten artistic perspectives on parenthood and the art world
How does parenthood change artistic practice? How do social structures and expectations affect artists with children? And: Who cares?
The exhibition explores the challenges, contradictions, and potential inherent in the relationship between care work and art, offering a variety of perspectives on a topic that could hardly be more personal or societal.
The exhibition *Who cares? * presents a variety of artistic media and approaches that explore the themes of parenthood and the art world from different perspectives. It highlights how parenthood influences artistic creation, the challenges and upheavals—as well as the opportunities and potential—that arise from it, and how social structures and expectations affect artists with children. The focus is on contemporary perspectives from the Central German region

The exhibiting artists are: Gala Goebel, Wiebke Kirchner, Mandy Kunze, Katja Neubert, Elisabeth Otto, Felicitas Packeiser, Laurina Preckel, Torsten Enzio Richter, Desiree Sander, and Juliane Schmidt.
