A workshop of the series “ProTalks – online workshops for artists” on the topic of “Writing about your own art”.
The challenge of capturing the essence of one’s own artistic work and individual works in texts is great. It becomes even greater when you consider that there are a whole range of different reasons and target groups for these texts. The ProTalks workshop will provide an overview of what visual artists need to pay attention to when writing texts about their own work, which texts are better taken from others, how mistakes can be avoided and what tips there are to make this work easier.
The aim of the workshop is to support artists in their professionalization in this important field of work.
