The Alexander Tutsek Foundation is continuing its “Artist and Child” grant program, which is aimed at freelance female artists living in Germany who work with glass and are mothers of a child who is older than one year and not yet of school age. The goal is to give these mothers the freedom they need to balance the challenges of parenting and their careers. Starting January 1, 2026, up to five grants will be awarded for 12 months, each providing €5,000 per month. The funding enables the artists to afford comprehensive childcare, undertake educational trips, participate in courses, or rent a studio. Applications will be accepted from July 15, 2025, through August 31, 2025.
Who can apply?
**Only for female artists with a child (older than 1 year, not yet of school age):** Freelance female artists who work with glass and have completed an artistic degree program (Bachelor’s/Master’s). The child must be older than one year at the time of application, not yet of school age, and living in the same household. Primary residence and permanent residence in Germany are required. A certificate of residence for the child, including the date of birth, is required.
