The scholarship at Künstler*dorf is open to professional visual artists, authors, and composers, as well as collectives. Applications for the year 2026 may be submitted from June 24 through August 31, 2025. The monthly stipend is 1,500 euros, minus rent and operating costs. For collectives, the stipend is 1,000 euros per person, up to a maximum of 3,000 euros. The duration of the residency can be chosen between two and six months, with a requirement to reside in the Künstler*dorf. During the residency, facilities and infrastructure are available, and active participation in events and exchanges is expected.
