“Saxony-Anhalt. Weltoffen!” is an independent, civil society alliance that is committed to a diverse, democratic and solidary Saxony-Anhalt. The BBK Saxony-Anhalt supports this alliance. We also want to send out strong signals for democracy, diversity, cosmopolitanism and solidarity in the coming years.
OUR COMMON GOALS ARE:
- We want to live in a country where people can be different without fear and are welcome. All people are equally valuable.
- We stand up for respect for human dignity and indivisible human rights.
- We are committed to plural democracy and the rule of law.
- We are committed to peaceful and respectful interaction with one another. Prejudice, exclusion and hatred have no place in a cosmopolitan and diverse Saxony-Anhalt.
- We stand up for sustainability, social justice and services of general interest for all people.
- We stand up for the idea of the European Community. It stands for peace, solidarity and responsible prosperity.
- We say no to the contempt for our fundamental values by the ideology of the extreme right.
