Dear Artists,
We are now entering our fifth year, and we are once again calling on you to submit your proposals.
The project space at the Dosenfabrik is a former sculptor’s studio, located on the ground floor, with double doors opening onto a green courtyard, and is expected to provide space for eight projects in 2027 as well.
The use of the DOSE project space as a laboratory defines the character of the space and the project.
Installations, projects, and performances are created here, developed specifically for this space. We provide the space and time for this over a four-week period. Unlike at most venues, our opening reception does not take place at the beginning, but rather in the middle of the working period—a process that visitors are welcome to follow. Accordingly, we welcome an open-minded attitude and flexibility regarding opening hours, as well as a sense of connection to the venue and our approach.
The work should make use of the third dimension—that is, it should be spatially oriented, sculptural, performative, and, ideally, interdisciplinary. The choice of artistic medium is open.
What matters to us is the process-oriented and expansive nature of the work.
Experience has taught us that clear goals and positions often work better than vague hopes for group dynamics—ideally, both happen. You can find good examples on Instagram (projektraum_dose) and on our website.
