Art format SICHT:WEISE
Workshops and exhibition with the experienced artist ilka Leukefeld
ECHO. SPACES OF SOCIOCULTURE is a project of the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft soziokultureller Zentren Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. in cooperation with partners in rural areas.
As part of this project, the art format SICHT:WEISE invites you to two workshop weekends at the sociocultural center ZORA e.V. in Halberstadt. The dates are Saturday and Sunday, the May 30 and 31 2026, as well as June 06 and 07, 2026. Both modules build on each other.
SICHT:WEISE sees itself as an artistic experience space for encounters, exchange and creative practice. The focus is on biographical themes, role models and memories of women. Based on personal experiences, the question of how the past and present are interwoven and how individual positioning arises in one’s own life is explored together.
The workshop is led by freelance artist ilka Leukefeld. Based on discussions, performative impulses and jointly developed ideas, artistic works will be created in the form of collages, screen prints and textile objects, among other things.
The works developed in the workshop will then be presented and honored in an exhibition. women aged 18 and over who are interested in creative work and exchange are invited. No previous artistic experience is required. Participation is free of charge. The number of places is limited to twelve participants.
