lucide’ exhibition
Cordial invitation to the exhibition opening on Thursday, May 28, 6 p.m., Fürstengraben 18, 07743 Jena
With the exhibition lucide, the Frommann Sculpture Garden presents sculptural works by the artist
Cornelia Weihe. The title refers to the permeable, transparent character of her steel sculptures.
Through open structures and a reduced formal language, the works consciously incorporate light, air and vegetation
into their effect. In the specific situation of the garden, the sculptures change depending on the perspective and
time of day and thus enter into an ongoing dialog with the location. The exhibition understands the garden not
solely as a presentation space, but as an integral part of the artistic experience and transforms it, in the
interplay of sculpture and nature, into a place of personal observation and perception.
