Der BBK Sachsen-Anhalt verfügt über einen internen Newsletter (BBK intern), den Sie ab dieser Woche automatisch erhalten. Darüber hinaus gibt es mit der Zielgruppe Öffentlichkeit, Kulturpolitik und -verwaltung einen öffentlichen Newsletter, der ungefähr alle zwei Monate erscheint und in dem wir über unsere aktuellen Projekte und Initiativen berichten – auch über die aktuellen Mitgliederprojekte.
Zeitschrift kultur politik des BBK-Bundesverbandes
Ab dem nächsten Heft erhalten Sie automatisch ein Abonnement der Zeitschrift kultur politik, die vom BBK-Bundesverband vierteljährlich herausgegeben wird. Zu diesem Zweck leiten wir Ihre Postadressen an den BBK-Bundesverband weiter. Die Kosten für das Abonnement sind in Ihrem Mitgliedsbeitrag enthalten.

Here you will find the information from our welcome email:

1. payment of membership fee and admission fee

We will charge you the admission fee of 35.00 euros and would also ask you to transfer the costs of the pro rata annual membership (May to December 2025, 9.17 euros per month = 73.33 euros). ATTENTION: Members aged 75 and over only pay an annual membership fee of 27.00 euros plus an admission fee of 35.00 euros. We will use the SEPA mandate you have completed from the 2026 annual fee, which will be collected from the end of February 2026. Please transfer the admission fee and the membership fee separatelyto the following account by May 31, 2025:

For your information: The annual membership fee of the BBK Saxony-Anhalt is currently 110.00 euros (27.00 euros from the age of 75), of which 27.00 euros are passed on to the BBK Federal Association. If you have ticked the splitting of the annual fee in your registration form (55.00 euros at the end of February / 55.00 euros at the end of July), the splitting will begin in 2026.

2. member overview on the BBK homepage

The homepage of the BBK Saxony-Anhalt has an overview of all members, which can be filtered by region and artistic genre, see https://www.bbk-sachsenanhalt.de/kuenstlerinnen/. In the next few days you will receive an access link from us, which you can use to enter your region in your profile. We would be pleased if you could also include further information in your profile. You will receive a separate e-mail from us for this purpose.

3. joint public relations work: BBK website, newsletter and social media

We publish a weekly newsletter for our members, most of the content of which is published on the homepage. We include your current exhibitions and projects as member projects. The homepage offers the advantage that illustrations and short continuous texts can also be integrated here. Take advantage of this opportunity and inform your colleagues and the public about your current projects. If you are also active on Facebook and/or Instagram, please also provide these links and we will then refer to your activities on the BBK Facebook page and on our Instagram account. These accounts are maintained by our current social media manager Magdalena Cichon. You are welcome to use our hashtags #bbksachsenanhalt, #verguetetausstellungen and #frischimbbk. We will also draw attention to your current projects in our internal and public newsletter, which is published approximately every two months. If possible, please send us at the beginning of each week:

  • Key data on the exhibition/project as a plain text (directly in the e-mail or as a text attachment), a digital image (preferably a jpg file, no larger than 500 MB)

A post will also go out via Instagram(https://www.instagram.com/bbksachsenanhalt/) with information about you as new members. Feel free to like this post! We will also try to find your Instagram and Facebook accounts so we can keep each other updated.

4. membership card

You will receive your membership card from us by post. Its validity is updated by signature of the management after collection of the annual fee in February of each year on presentation. The membership card entitles you to reduced or free admission to some museums and other cultural institutions. You can find a list of institutions that grant discounts on the BBK Federal Association’s homepage: www.bbk-bundesverband.de/berufsbild/freier-eintritt-in-museen. Here you will also find information on the International Artist Card, which you can apply for using our membership card and which offers many financial benefits internationally.

  • Please attach a current passport photo to the ID card and sign it.

5th exhibition in our “generally fresh” series

In our “generally fresh” exhibition series, we present our new members in a group exhibition every year. As we are a little behind schedule, it will be your turn in 2027 at the earliest. We ask for your understanding.

6. support in professional matters

If you have any questions or suggestions or if we can support you in a difficult professional situation, please let us know. At our board meetings, which always take place on the first Tuesday of the month, you can describe your problems by prior appointment if we are unable to help you in Halle or with the help of our colleagues at the BBK Bundesverband offices in Berlin. You are also cordially invited to our board meetings in general if you would like to get a taste of the work of the board, here too we ask you to register in advance.

7. our team

Our office is always open Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 16:00. This is where we work, Ruth Heftrig as Managing Director and Jenny Weber as Assistant to the Managing Director (both of us can be contacted via ). Please understand that we will not respond to inquiries from the second half of the week until the following week. We are working on a more comprehensive promotion of our association so that we can be there for you every day in future…

You already met Friederike Nottrott, Marion Münzberg and Julia Rückert from the Board at the admission meeting. The board also includes the artists Annegrete Riebesel, Desiree Sander, Stefanie Demmel and Line Jastram. Feel free to talk to them too – there will certainly be an opportunity to do so at one or other cultural event.
