Karl Oppermann

The hound of Dakar: “Spirit threatened – breathlessly pursued – hunted to the grave.” Karl Oppermann was born in Wernigerode in 1930. The former professor of free painting at the Berlin University of the Arts has been awarded the Saxony-Anhalt Badge of Honor and the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon and has studios in Elba and Barcelona. He lives and works in Veckenstedt (Harz).
