In addition to three regular residency fellowships in the fields of visual arts, music, and literature, the Künstler*innenhaus Lauenburg has been awarding a working fellowship—with no requirement to reside on-site—since 2022 to applicants with child(ren) (ages 0–15) who are permanent residents of Germany. Proof of this must be provided upon commencement of the fellowship. Artists may apply for the work fellowship annually, rotating among the fields of composition, literature, and visual arts, with no age restrictions. The order was initially determined by lottery. For 2027, the fellowship will be offered in the field of visual arts (2026: composition; 2025: literature).
The application forms will be available on the Künstler*innenhaus website starting October 10, 2026.
