For an art project taking place from March through October 2027, the Museum Haus im Schluh is seeking an artist or student to design and create an interactive sound and light installation.
As part of the joint exhibition organized by the four museums of the Worpswede Museum Network to mark the 100th anniversary of the Great Worpswede Art Exhibition in 2027, the Haus im Schluh is providing a gallery space for the presentation of an installation. The goal is for the work to evoke a sense of festivity and joy among visitors.
Eligibility: Professional artists and students at colleges and universities of fine and applied arts; no application fees
Medium: Interactive sound and light installation in a display case (17 square meters)
To the extent that technology is used, the museum staff should be able to easily turn the installation on and off at the start and end of their shifts, e.g., using toggle switches. Unfortunately, control via laptops, control consoles, etc., is not possible.
Budget: 6 ,000 € (fees, materials, transportation)
Application deadline: September 30, 2026
