Applications for the KPM Karl Peter Muller Prize for Art Legacies 2026 are open until July 31.
The prize honors “people, initiatives and projects that accompany artistic estates with particular care, innovation and creativity”. We are looking for professional, artistic and experimental concepts that rethink estate work and make it visible – also in dealing with bequests. The competition is limited to the administrative district of Karlsruhe. The prize money is 5,000 euros, together with an accompanying exhibition in 2027 at the BBK Karlsruhe and free advice from the Bundesverband Künstlernachlässe e. V. (BKN).
