The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation exists to support young representational artists from around the world in the fields of painting, sculpture, printmaking, and drawing. The foundation will only fund young artists who are pursuing their studies or are in the early stage of their career, are working in a representational style of painting, drawing, sculpture or printmaking.
First grants are in the amount of 17,000 dollars. Grants are made directly to the artist, not to or through other organization. Grantees may not receive more than three grants in their life-time.
Applicant Eligibility
- You must be between Former grant recipients may apply beyond age 41 if they meet all other eligibility criteria.

There are four application cycles per year during which new applications are accepted. Each has a fixed open and close date.
