The Starke Art Foundation supports young, up-and-coming artists of all genres. In the stimulating and exclusive atmosphere, they can concentrate fully on their artistic work and (further) develop their individual style. We support them in their artistic development and also promote exchange between artists.
Artists from Germany and abroad up to the age of 40 can apply. Applications are possible all year round. An independent committee selects the artists who will receive a residency grant from the submitted applications.
In addition, short-term guest apartments are available for use by established artists. It is important to note that energy costs during the stay must be borne by the scholarship holder.
The Starke Foundation’s projects are scientifically supported by international curators.
