For the site of the vocational school center for electrical engineering, proposals are to be developed for an artistic work on or inside the school building that establishes a distinctive connection to the site and, through its artistic quality and expressiveness, helps users identify with the vocational school center. The artwork(s) should enrich the school site and enhance the quality of the environment for those who spend time there. Care must be taken to ensure that the work can be experienced through the senses and meets the school’s specific functional requirements.
Professional artists and artist groups residing in the European Union are eligible to participate.
A total of €30,000 in prize money is available for the competition. A maximum total budget (fees and implementation costs) of €330,000, including VAT, is available for the realization of up to two works. The prize money will be applied toward the fees.
