How to Submit:
To submit your proposal, please fill out this form and share a link to your publication. Files should be in PDF format. A working draft of your publication is absolutely fine, but it should clearly demonstrate how you plan to work within the above limitations. If selected, applicants will be responsible for the final design and submission of print-ready files by an agreed-upon date. During the design process, Stray Pages can provide guidance on best practices and working methods for Risograph printing, as well as making sure your print files are up to standard before starting production.
There are no restrictions on the type of work that can be submitted; however, if you are submitting a text-heavy publication, it must still feature a visual element. For example, photography or other imagery to accompany your writing. Submissions are open for individuals or collaborative projects.
What You Will Receive:
- 5 copies of your publication
- 50% of profits from sales
There are no upfront costs for successful applicants. Stray Pages will cover all print production costs. After initial sales cover production expenses, profits will be split 50/50 between the artist and Stray Pages.
For example, if production costs are $500 for 100 copies and the publication is sold for $20 each, after 25 copies are sold (breaking even), the remaining sales will be split 50/50, with $10 going to Stray Pages and $10 to the artist. For collaborative projects, the 50% share going to the artists will be split among them at their discretion.
